Default What are some Fun Food Themed Parties??

Around 1972-73 we had a 1940's party complete with decor, music, costumes,
and food. There were around 40 people, most of whom were only born in the
1940's. It was an all-around challenge for most of the guests who had to
research the clothing and food.

Unfortunately, I can't really remember much about the food, but we had a
contest for the most authentic dish and the most authentic costume, and
everyone had a great time. I do remember there were a lot of hot and cold
hors d'Oeuvre that no one serves anymore. There were also a couple of
aspics and patés.
