Sue Hutt's "French Chicken" (pg 75), followed by Barb's brownies
(pg 107). And btw, Nancy, the first page does say "Welcome to the
FIRST rec.food.cooking Cook.Book". Seems you've committed yourself,
heh, heh, heh! ;-)

Seriously though, if a second edition is ever considered, I'll be
glad to help out...

RFC put together a cookbook to benefit City Harvest, which is NYC's
version of Second Harvest, in the wake of the devastation of 9/11.
We sold out 2 printings, some ... upwards of 800 books. I sent
Barbara one of my last books that I had purchased myself.

(laugh!) You vastly overestimate my involvement, I just took all
your money and put a down payment on a car. I forget who wrote the
introduction, I didn't say Welcome to anyone. *

I don't know if people can be galvanized to do that again. Let's
just say, maybe that's a good thing.

the money order we donated is on Barb's website, last time I
looked)

Heh, good point, Jeff! Wouldn't want to get full of chicken and miss
those brownies...

Believe me, everyone, I was just being flip. Nancy (and all the others
involved) worked extremely hard on the cookbook project. It was a source of
great pride for rfc-ers to learn that such a handsome amount was donated to
City Harvest, made possible by so much hard work.

Oh, don't think twice about it, I was the one being flip. I really
shouldn't goof around, but you know me. Everyone knows you were
kidding.
