My boy looks, and wonders, but he's perfectly content to lounge around on the furniture and sleep through the day. He's never been an escape artist like the girls. Go ahead and deny that fact > I wouldn't be putting in my 2¢ worth if you hadn't screwed up spelling c*nt. Because of that, I will assume you're not the kind of person who uses the word in everyday conversation - so I will tell you what I think. I think Alan is treating his cats well. They look well cared for and loved. From what I see here/hear, they don't wander either and that's a good thing. Because they are well fed, IMO they are not a threat to the songbird population - but if they got a bird... I'd say it's survival of the fittest. Sometimes the bird could be ill or old... other times, just young or stupid. Watch Animal Planet or NatGeo and you'll get the picture. I'm not overly concerned about a cat's state of mind other than the creature comforts they desire - not those we foist upon them because we consider them four legged humans. As their owners, we need to feed them on a daily basis, give them shelter (somewhere), make sure their vaccinations are updated when they should be, do "well kitty" checkups yearly, take them to the vet when something is wrong, let them come indoors if they wish and keep up the flea drops (!). If they're smart, they will live a long enough life and probably die of cancer in their old age - just like us. Gee, isn't that swell? -- I love cooking with wine. Sometimes I even put it in the food. |
