Dawn Wells, aka Mary Ann from Gilligan's Island, demonstrates a unique
way to peel an Idaho potato...without the use of a potato peeler! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z4W0qIPJmoo -- It is simply breathtaking to watch the glee and abandon with which the liberal media and the Angry Left have been attempting to turn our military victory in Iraq into a second Vietnam quagmire. Too bad for them, it's failing. |

Not very energy efficient... how much gas or electricity did she use to power the stove to boil the water for 15 or more minutes just so she didn't have to use the peeler? Sheesh! Tom |

My municipality has curbside single-stream. We recycle everything we can. I usually make the sauce from paste, and I also recycle the Contadina cans. Oh wait... wasn't it Obama who turned the heat UP at the White House because he likes it warm (and someone there excused by saying "he's from Hawaii and likes it warm" ?) Paul Newman's marinara is absolutely the best. Dice an onion and sweat it, and then add the marinara. You can crumble a pound of sausage into it, too, but you'll want to do that first if you use the same pan for everything. |

This method, which I haven't tried yet, certainly looks easier than peeling the spuds first. -aem |

Once the Cap-and-Trade program takes effect we can all march triumphantly back to the good old, "energy efficient" days of the 19th century.
