Default Dawn Wells Potato Peeling Video

Dawn Wells, aka Mary Ann from Gilligan's Island, demonstrates a unique
way to peel an Idaho potato...without the use of a potato peeler!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z4W0qIPJmoo

--
It is simply breathtaking to watch the glee and abandon with which
the liberal media and the Angry Left have been attempting to turn
our military victory in Iraq into a second Vietnam quagmire. Too bad
for them, it's failing.

Not very energy efficient... how much gas or electricity did she use
to power the stove to boil the water for 15 or more minutes just so
she didn't have to use the peeler?

Sheesh!

The skin's the ebst part, so it's not as issue for me.
Besides, one doesn't use that kind of potato because it falls apart.

My municipality has curbside single-stream. We recycle everything we
can.

I usually make the sauce from paste, and I also recycle the Contadina
cans.

The Ragu is too sweet for my tastes, but it is nice and adicy as well.

What an idiotic statement.
Oh wait... wasn't it Obama who turned the heat UP at the White House
because he likes it warm (and someone there excused by saying "he's from
Hawaii and likes it warm" ?) The rest of us just put on a sweater.

Hawaii!!!

entire planet with King BO entrenched.

Paul Newman's marinara is absolutely the best. Dice an onion and sweat
it, and then add the marinara. You can crumble a pound of sausage into
it, too, but you'll want to do that first if you use the same pan for
everything.

Wimpy because he turned down the thermostat, or wimpy cause he put on a
sweater? No, he wasn't wimpy for doing either of *those* things in my book.
Are you saying Obama's double standard is okay with "you" people?

But if you're boiling the potatoes for the purpose of making mashed
there's no extra energy expended. This method, which I haven't tried
yet, certainly looks easier than peeling the spuds first. -aem

Don't worry about it. Once the Cap-and-Trade program takes effect we
can all march triumphantly back to the good old, "energy efficient"
days of the 19th century. You know, when it took an entire day to
prepare that evening's meal.

That'll be completely up to your own skills, probably. Unless you have

PBS. You know, that reality show they had a couple of years back where
a family agreed to live in the conditions of an early 20th century

Oh. I see. So you construed a documentary to read into something it
didn't intend to say?

No, I added the information from the documentary to other information
obtained from my life experience. I thought everybody did that, but if
extrapolation is a talent you lack you're really missing something.

Well, clearly, if you think that Cap-and-Trade is going to lead to
taking hours to prepare an evening meal, your talents are lacking.

I thought my personal invectives were aptly suited to the situation.
You know, inserting stupid political bullshit into places where it
didn't belong? You sound ridiculous.
