I wonder why the URL is www.314271.com , since pi to 5 decimals is
3.14159? I also wonder what the numerologists would make of the best 3
digit fraction 355/113 ?

Sort of food-related. :-)

Today is March 14 => 3/14 => 3.14 pi the constant/ratio for
circles and stuff. Just wait till 2015!

It's explained at the top of the page in tiny print

pi 3.14 & e 2.71 are combined for 314217 or pie

It's really quite clever and even more food related

I think I shall make both pizza and a fruit pie tonight. :-)

distracted.

Well, I didn't have pie on pi day but I made lemon bars
which taste like lemon meringue pie (without the meringue
of course) so I think that counts. There are delicious!
Actually they're lemon-lime bars because I had some leftover
lime juice from my Caribbean-style Pork Roast last week and
dumped it in with the juice from the Meyer lemons I bought
last week to try. The bars are yummy. I also made lemon-limeade
with the excess juice. Yummy.
