Can a whole turkey be cooked in a crock-pot? I understand that it
probably would not get brown...or could it? I am thinking of getting a
3 quart crock pot and trying to gauge how often I would use this since
I was single and I already have a small one (don't go there!).

The only reason I would want one is to cook a corn beef brisket with
spinach and onions plus crootons and the small one would not work. So
I am trying to think of other things that I could cook in something
this size to justify its purchase.

Your thoughts?
