Default Aero Garden started salad greens

Since I killed off the chives from the get go, I finally got around to
filling that space with some salad greens.

The garden is still doing great.

I'm thinking this'd make a wonderful birthday gift for my sister. I'm
currently fostering their corgie (Chelsea) because they live in an
apartment. :-)

Thanks for posting the pics Koko!

I can't do this unless I set one up in the garage--my cats would eat every
leaf!

Not if you get the wall unit and hang it where they could not reach it.

There is literally *no* place that Holly cannot reach, especially if *I*
want to reach it without a ladder. She even jumps to the top of my 6-foot
(yes, 6 feet!) book cases and never disturbs anything that I have sitting on
top of them. Of course, there really isn't any "perching" room on the Aero,
so that might dissuade her.

I don't have any houseplants for the same reason, but I really do think
the wall unit would work. :-)

Well, it probably would. It just isn't important enough for me to spend
that much money and hang it on the wall (where I don't want it). If I could
easily place it on the counter, I "might" go for it. If I do decide that I
really want to try one, I'll put it in the garage. I have an attached
garage with kitchen-type counters and cabinets, so that would be easy for
me. But I gave up all live indoor plants a long time ago because I decided
that I would rather have my cats than the plants. On the other hand, I have
*lots* of outdoor plants.

Corgies are so cute.
If she lives in an apartment the Aero Garden would be perfect. As you
know they have the 3 pod size also.

I can relate. That's why I have to garden inside, the ourside varments
eat every leaf and root.

They have wall hanging units also.

So kitty does not go outdoors? Neither do mine. <g> I value them too
much. I don't miss the indoor plants.

I don't have a garage but am considering financing an outdoor one once
my morgage is paid off. I have three years left. :-)

They are indeed:

Smart too. Smartest dog I've ever worked with, including the border
collie. She and the BC are major buddies as well. I have digicam films
of them wrestling.

Yes, mine are indoor-only. They are truly my "furbabies." Holly will be 14
years old in June but looks and acts much younger. Duffy is blind (probably
caused in utero from an infection in the mother), but he can do almost
anything that any sighted cat can do. He loves to climb! (Links to pics
below my signature--I'm like a mother or grandmother who carries fold-out
pictures everywhere she goes except that mine are on the computer.)

Totally amazing. I miss my handicapped kitty. He was my soft boy.
