Campbell's Soups "Souperburger"
Turns out I have it on a card, though I'm pretty sure it was in a book,
too. Souperburger Source: Tested Recipe / Home Economics Department / Campbell Soup Company 1 pound ground beef 1/2 cup chopped onion 1 tablespoon shortening 1 can Campbell's Chicken Gumbo, Golden Mushroom, Tomato, Vegetable, or Cream of Mushroom Soup 1 tablespoon prepared mustard Dash pepper 6 buns, split and toasted In skillet, brown beef and cook onion in shortening until tender; stir to separate meat. Pour off fat. Add soup and seasonings. Cook 5 minutes' stir now and then. Serve on buns.
