Default Who Has Diabetes Here?

Delurking--
I'm at a phase where the tips of my toes are beginning to get numb,
and my ankles are swollen. Are these symptoms something for a T2
diabetic to worry about? Ever since my diagnosis on September 15, 2008,
I have been trying to avoid foods with high carbs and refined sugar. Any
opinions?

Merry Christmas!
