Default Can Thai basil be freezed

Can Thai basil be freezed and used in making Laab? I eman how to
freeze and also would it still be good to use in such a dish.

Try it various ways and see how well it works out for you. It could be
frozen dry, or mixed into water to make ice cubes to be later thawed and
drained. Seal it well and don't let it stay frozen too long to avoid
picking up freezer burn odor.

I assumed you're using it to make Larb, and then discovered that Laab and
Larb are synonymous. I rinse it slightly. Wet, I place it a ziplock bag,
suck all the air out, and freeze, preferably in a NON frost tree freezer[the
old fashion chest type]. When you thaw it, spin it dry in a lettuce spinner
drier, and there you are!

I imagine you mean 'Frozen'?....not 'Freezed'.... Amanda..... LOL

I can't see why it would be any different to other herbs to freeze..... I
would place it in a sealed plastic bag and just 'Freeze' it and use as
required.... I wouldn't leave it for too long though in the freezer!

Thanks everyone; I don't plan to freeze for too long. Just about 2 or
3 weeks only.
