Carb overload?

We went to visit my stepson in Brooklyn yesterday. It was too hot to
do anything, so we went to the BAM, where they happened to have a few
exhibits we were interested in.

Decided to stop in the museum cafe(teria) for a light snack. DH got
the Italian wedding soup, SS got a quesidilla, DD and I got pizzas.
They were surprisingly good, considering they'd been on a hot tray and
were toasted for a minute or so before being served. Not chewy at
all, nicely crisp crust. I had the veggie and goat cheese, she had
plain. They had one other, and that was a pizza with rigatoni on top.

Am I just old, or does this seem like overkill to be putting pasta on
top of pizza?

It's downright gacky and must be stopped at all costs. Rat poison would not
be too harsh for the perp.

I think so. I like minimalist pizza toppings and think most of the
flavor is in a well baked crust and not inches of toppings.

Yes it is, indeed. Better put a pizza over another pizza, as I did once as a
young boy. Keeps warm for longer, but requests a proper appetite ;)
