Default How Do You Prepare Banana Bud ???

A new Oriental food store opened up near me, and
I wandered around looking for stuff I hadn't seen
before. I bought some indonesian fried crackers
made from _Genetum_genemon_ (also known as "padi
oats"), whatever the heck that is. They didn't
have much flavor.

I also bought a fresh banana bud. It's approximately
the size and shape of a Belgian endive, but dark
brown in color. What do I do with it?
