Default Oreo cookies are taking over the UK!

I discovered Oreos when as a 12 year old I visited Florida, and a delightful
family from St Lois befriended my family.
The friendship between my parents and the elderly couple and their daughter
lasted for another 25 years, when Jean their daughter died. Although never
again meeting they wrote and sent Christmas cards to each other without
fail. I was a scrawny almost-teenager who ate a phenomenal amount of food
for my size, and it became their mission to feed me US treats!

Although I've visited the US on many occasions I'm looking forward to being
able to stock up at home!

Oreos have been available in the UK for years. At first they were baked
under licence in France; think they are now UK made.
