What to do with $180 million?
The Extremely Long Lunch! Taking place on a private island all my own, should I win tonight's Powerball lottery! You'll all invited! Come by air or boat. All expenses paid! I've got a whole $1.00 riding on it so keep your fingers crossed!!! First course: A few days of Maine lobster, crabcakes, blue box mac & cheese, zillions of beef and chicken taquitos with all the beer and wine in the world you can drink. Followed by a few days of any way you want 'em omelettes, meatloaf, pizzas and pastas, or your choise of caviar and truffle and crackers, accompanied with martinis, rum 'n' cokes and sea breezes or tequilla sunrises for the daring among the membership, and the free fridays, "Demand what you desire!" meals. And YES we do serve waffles at all hours! Clothing is provided but optional. Andy |

I don't think any numbers are lucky. I only play when the large jackpot gets way up there. I'm $3 in the hole this year. I'd better win soon dammit!!! ![]() mate in Australia and I get 10% of his winnings, so I don't feel a need to play. In the seven years that I've managed his bankroll, He's lost over $1,000. I've probably won about $5.00. He'll have me drive over the bridge to get New Jersey lotto tickets. I charge him for gas and tolls. If he wins $3 it will cost him $9.00 for me to drive back to cash it in (+ my 10%). He's crazy! It's cheaper to throw the ticket in the trash. This year I told him I'm not driving to New Jersey. Did him a favor. I see people buying every daily lottery and scratch off games, etc., with such reckless abandon it just boggles the mind! The lottery is for people who don't know math! Andy |

It's also for people filling time. I don't pay much attention to what the jackpot is, I'd be perfectly happy even at it's base level. I only get lottery tickets when I get gas at my regular gas station. Start the pump pumping and then go inside and get 1 Lotto and 1 Mega Millions and by the time I get back out to the truck the pump is almost finished. I figure it adds up to around $50/year, whoop dee doo. |
