Default I know, it's not peeps ...

But this time of the year I look for chruscik, I never see
it any other time of the year. Can't get enough of these
crispy fried things with sugar.

You can always make your own. Aunt Stephie did and fried them in lard.

We have a couple of Polish stores that carry them year round though. Much
easier.

Oh, I bet that was good. Closest I've ever come is making rosettes
at Christmas.

Heh. Yeah, I just perk up when I see those bakery boxes with those
white yummy things. I'd have to go to north jersey for a Polish bakery,
though ... and I see that's where these are made, too.
