Most supermarkets in this area sell fresh made pizza dough for about
$1/lb. It's better than anything I could make myself and I like to experiment. Besides pizza, pizza fritte, or calzones, does anyone have any recipes for this lovely stuff? |

Ugh! That would make a lovely crepe though. > Make some cinnamon rolls: Roll out, let it warm up and rise a little. Deflate dough, roll out into rectangle approx. 14 x 20. Spread or brush on a thin coating of soft butter. Sprinkle with sugar or brown sugar and then with cinnamon and some nuts of your choice Roll, starting at long end. Cut into slices approx. 1 - 1.25 inches thick. Put in a buttered parchment lined 8" or 9" square pan. Let rise until nearly double. Bake in preheated, 350F oven for 25-30 minutes. Let cool. Drizzle with glaze or frost as desired. Keep in mind I've never done this. But this is how you can make cinnamon rolls with regular dough. Dee Dee |
