Default "Geezer Salad"

In April of this year, Al's Sicherman's retirement from the Strib was
the topic of a thread here.

Last evening I attended a reading from Al's latest book, "Geezer Salad."
Al did the reading. :-) He brought brownies, too.

We had a nice visit afterwards and I'm pleased to report that he's doing
well. He said he had six weeks to decide which pieces (70 of them)
would appear in the book from the many he'd written over the years. It
was a fun evening and he's a great guy. The book would be a good gift
for any and all who enjoyed his work while at the Strib. Amazon has it
as do, I'm pretty sure, fine bookstores locally. :-) He's a sweet man.
