That's what Chef Ramsey said to Josh as he kicked him off the show.
Do you think it'd be worth getting prosecuted for punching him once,
really hard?

It's happened before. Happened to me, in fact.

Happens all the time. I agree that the guy was a screwup, but the
constant atmosphere of abuse in Hell's Kitchen could easily make
someone snap.

Isn't it amazing that the the title of the show is so apt?

I don't think that bosses acting like that fosters better performance.

You do realize that it's a TV "show", right? For entertainment. Ya know,
like WWF? Or the FoodNetwork? ;-)

The contestants didn't sign up to be babied. Josh ****ed up, plain and
simple. He should have been gone last week. He couldn't put out a single
appetizer to order. (I do have to wonder about a restaurant that puts so
much into risotto, though... just not something I'd order. What, rice?!
Um, I can do that at home, thanks.)

Ramsay is doing these "kids" a favour, IMO. Showing them what life in the
big kitchen is all about. I thought it was great he's sending Julia to
culinary school. She's a Waffle House cook! She stepped up and showed she
could do it. Ramsay recognized it and is going to help her become a little
more than a Waffle House cook, not that there is anything wrong with that.
He's really a good guy; he just has to be an ass on TV for this show.

DH & I were talking about that. He said he still remembers a risotto that
he had in 1973 at a French restaurant in San Francisco.
And I still remember a risotto that I had in 1976 at an Italian restaurant
in San Francisco.

I guess it's like a bottle of wine -- either it's good or not so good - when
you can even remember the year. :-)

LOL Yeah, Josh was screwing up *everything* he touched. I thought he
should have been eliminated the week before, rather than Brad.

A shame the way these people were forced to send in their audition
tapes and get chosen from all those entries.

Your myspace is impossible to read with the black text on the dark gray and
black background. You have to highlight the text with the mouse to make it
readable.
Maybe this is the way you want it, though.

Heh! We finally watched Monday's episode last night. Josh got what he
deserved. He was specifically told not to premake the spaghetti after he was
caught doing so, then he turned around and did it again?? I think he just
melted down, couldn't handle the pressure. Not the right person to be a head
chef. I was sorry to see Julia go, but it's cool that Ramsey is going to send
her to culinary school...

I must've been physic (sp?) because I said that Julia should be picked, that
she was great, but that it would be great if she could go to culinary
school. When it happened, I felt right in tune with dear ole Ramsay.

BTW, I wonder what Ramsay was doing on one of the news networks just before
9 am EST this morning. He was yukkin' it up, is all I saw as it went off
the hour.

Julia... I know Ramsay saw real potential in her. She made it a long
way in the contest for a "Waffle House cook".
