The article did imply that there's already a shortage of beef, salad
vegetables, etc., grown in the UK.

Anything imported to fill any gaps will be expensive. Much as it is now,
I'm guessing.

It's not going to hurt Whole Foods to test the waters in England by opening
a store there. Maybe just a scaled down offering of goods compared to the
U.S. stores, rendering it somewhat plain with the attractive facade and the
highest prices the UK market will bear.
