They're cooked, although browning them in a bit of oil makes them more
appetizing, imo.

Our Costco stopped carrying them some time back. Pretty annoying, but
something Costco seems to do a lot. You don't want to get hooked on
anything they sell, 'cuz it's just as likely not to be there when you
next go looking for it.
