This is the recipe from my sous chef from Thanksgiving - it's awesome!
Cranberry-Apple Relish 1 1/2 cups peeled, chopped Granny Smith apple (1/2 Lb) 1 cup brown sugar 1/2 cup white grape juice (I've made with apple juice and cranberry juice they are equally as yummy) 1 teaspoon ground ginger 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon 1 (12 oz) package fresh cranberries Combine all ingredients in a medium sauce pan. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer until thick (about 15 min). Stir occasionally. Cool completely. Can make ahead and store in the refrigerator for up to 3 days before serving. -L. |
