Default The nicest thing about RFC.....

.... is that when you've been away for a year or two then drop in, you
still see your same old friends!!

Hope you've all been happy and healthy, and here's wishing you all a
great Holiday season!

Me.... I'm starting the Isreali Diet next week. Nobuko will be coming
back and I want to look like a Greek God. Or at least close... (No,
Sheldon, NOT VULCAN!!!)

Thanks!

> What is the Israeli Diet,

When I spell it correctly, it's the Isreali Diet. One that I started a
huge controversy with about 10 years ago here. It's 2 days of just
cheese, then two days of veggies, then 2 days of boiled chicken
breasts, followed by 2 days of fruit. Black tea or coffee permitted.
Nothing else. At the end of the eight days you will have lost roughly
10 lbs, (or as my mother, who taught it to me says, one dress size) for
about a week or two. Perfect if you get your timing right. You really
look good at the end of that 8-day period. NOT RECOMENDED FOR EXTENDED
WEIGHTLOSS.

I Japan visiting with family, for waaaaay to long! I'm almost out of
clean laundry!

Right here!!
Eight years, three months, two weeks, four days, 3 hours, 1 minute and
9 seconds. 90963 cigarettes not smoked, saving $27,289.13. Time used
for a better purpose: 45 weeks, 20 hours, 15 minutes.

Nice to see you again!

(laugh!) Make it a good looking Greek God. Happy Holidays to
you, too, and stay safe!

I'd like to think that too. But I'm a realist. I have more hair in my
ears than he has on his head.....

> I didn't know Nobuko went anywhere; details?

Just back to Japan to visit with family. If her feet don't touch
Japanese soil periodically, she's afraid she will wither away, and we
simply can NOT allow that to happen. She doesn't know it, but while
she's been gone, I've been having matching star ruby rings made for us
for Christmas/Channukah/Birthday presents. These stones aren't quite up
to crown jewel quality, but even nice rubies and sapphires are dirt
cheap here. The settings are more expensive. I figure that if I give it
to her at the airport when I pick her up, she won't complain about the
two months worth of dirty dishes in the sink when we get back to the
house.

If I could spell, I wouldn't have had to be an English prof for so
long. NOBODY grades the prof's papers.... )

Remember back when the debate was going on here? We couldn't find a
single reference to it on the net. Now Wikipdedia lists it, but they've
got it wrong!! Don't trust anything you read!
It's cheese, veggies, chicken, then fruit.

Don't do this to me. I'm jonesing for a Clausson's Kosher Dill Pickle
and Hebrew National Hotdogs. On the plus side, 'Ben& Jerry's' just made
it here to the supermarkets!

I could use some lessons. I tried to take a close-up photo of a cobra
the other day that was coiled up in my friend's garden, and the foolish
thing mistook me for food and tried to eat me! ME! Do I look like snake
food to you? Stooopid creatures! And to top it off, I got cobra venom
all over my camera lens! I had to put on rubber gloves to clean it off.
Fortunately I had some in my truck. You never know when you'll need
sterile rubber gloves, so I always carry them. (I do leave organ
transplants to the professionals. Usually.)

Nice to see you again, Steve. As I recall, you had your own personal troll,
who went by something which concatenated to "taking the ****," right? Have
you killed him, or can we expect him to show up here again?

Bob
