Reminds me of when I was married. I had to do Thanksgiving 5 times in one
day. Once at my parents' house, once at my MIL's house, once at his aunt's
house, once at his uncle's house, lastly at his grandmother's house. NO!!!
I have no idea how we managed to coordinate all that running around but
everyone had Thanksgiving dinner at different times so it all worked out.
By the time we got to his grandmother's house I couldn't eat another bite
and his grandmother, who was a sweet lady, was so concerned about my lack of
appetite. Heh, you try eating dinner 5 times in one day and see if you have
an appetite! Then we were expected to do it all again come Christmas. Oh
gawd.

Your briskets sound wonderful! Nice change of pace from all that turkey

That gets annoying, we put a stop to that after a few years. If nothing
else,
the traffic was murder. Having said that, even a simpleton can understand
you already ate at the inlaw's, you don't want a whole nother meal. Then
we started having holiday meals on days other than the actual day. Major
improvement and everyone liked it.
