Default OT, too. Who Let the Dogs Out?

WhoLetTheDogsOut.wmv .

Gee, I hope this works. And if it does, turn up your sound. If it
doesn't work I'll slink out the backdoor.

Was it about cooking dogs? Kaygogi is a specialty albeit becoming less
common I think in Korea.

Diane Sawyer has been reporting from North Korea this week, her reports are
very interesting. Tonight on the ABC evening nooze she said that two things
that really struck her about the place were a *total* absence of cats and
dogs -- and any obese people ;-)

My understanding of those missing cats (heard in South Korea near 30
years ago) was that they were all killed many years ago because they
were felt to have caused some epidemic?

(laugh) I caught that about the dogs and cats, too. Obese people, they
are a head shorter than South Koreans due to malnutrition.

Yep, that's the one. Thanks!

I DID post it as OT, y'all had your chance to pass on by this thread.
Don't blame me if you can't resist looking at an Off Topic subject.

Personally I come here for the food talk, not the dog and cat talk.

So has anyone here ever actually eaten Kaygogi?
