IMO was a pretty good show, it went to different places and showed us
how they somewhat make their pizzas. I thought it was pretty good, don't know if I will watch every week, but it was good. BTW, why is the the Food Network giving us all these shows that focus on foods in a certain area, and/or the best places to eat in a certain area. Examples...Food Finds and Best Of.......I guess I shouldn't complain, and please forgive me, just curious. |

It just seemed like a more refined version of "The Best Of"... but instead of the strangely seductive Jill we get Fat Mario ... I want Mario to show me how to cook - not show me around America... plus they give you a glimpse of really great food but fail to give you the recipe... irritating... I'll still watch it though... Mario/Alton/Bourdain is the only thing keeping my interest these days... ~john! |

More like FoodNation Italian, but yeah. > I want > Mario to show me how to cook - not show me around America... plus they > give you a glimpse of really great food but fail to give you the > recipe... irritating... Unfortunately, it's the stated policy of FoodTV to get away from stand-up cooking in their primetime shows. I think a cooking show with Mario and a knowledgable sidekick chef (No Rooney!!!) would work well. I enjoyed Mario's visits to Martha's show, because she would let him tell his stories but also keep him focused on explaining what he's doing as he's cooking. Brian Rodenborn |

What's the point of taking me to a restuarant to show me a food I may never get a chance to try unless they are going to give me the info on how to recreate it? I like Mario. His regular show gives lots of very good cooking info on what looks like authentic Italian cooking. It's probably the first Italian cooking show I've watched that makes me want to actually try the recipes. I was expecting the same on this new show. I wanted an authentic recipe! Hell, even RR's $40/day give the recipes. nb |

And why don't they rename "The Travel Channel" to "The Vegas Channel"? |
