Default Effects of various Artificial Sweetners

I've noticed, recently, an odd side effect of some of the artificial
sweeteners (AS) I drink coffee all night and tried the different AS
provided...

The weird thing is, both Equal and Splenda leave me going to the
bathroom almost hourly when I get home, Sweet&Low doesn't.

I've never seen this umm... problem(?) mentioned before, so...

4-5 16 oz cups, of a 50/50 mix between decaf and another variety of
coffee, that doesn't change, just the sweetener...

I don't know about the sweetener, but you are cruising for
a case of prostate caffine poisoning.
Not joking, been there, and it wasn't pretty

I consume a lot of artificially sweetened drinks and I have never
experienced that problem.

Sounds like a troll or you have something wierd with your
digestive
system. Maybe you should see a gastrologist.

BTW - Likely way too much coffee.

Not a troll BJ; EZ's been around afd, asd, mhd for a while, just
doesn't post often.

I must agree on the coffee EZ, and like the others I have no answers
to the sweetener. I dropped sugar before dx, so I don't use sweeteners
in coffee anyway. Worth considering. If you dont like the taste
without sweetener- at least you'd drink less of it:-)

Otherwise, just stick to S&L.

Cheers Alan, T2, Australia.
