I ate those twice from road-side sellers in the South; they had no
effect on my BGs at all.

Or on my taste buds. Tried a second time in case the first weren't

According to the USDA data base:

1 cup of boiled peanuts out of the shell has 38g of carbs with 15g of
fiber for a net carb count of 23g.
