Bread slicer

Do you have an opinion on a Presto bread slicer compared to a West Bend
bread slicer? Is there a bread slicer you like better than one of
these?

I have good luck with an electric knife.

I think that you mean slicing guide. Presto is no longer available, unless
you can locate one on ebay...

A good sharp knife is more important than the guide, but if you are going to
use a guide you should probably have one with a longer blade.

I use the Presto guide with an electric knife, or free hand slice with a 10
inch Chicago Cutlery bread knife. http://tinyurl.com/8xfvb
