I recently tasted Starbuck's Espresso. but.. it's terrible. it had some
roasting problems i guess.

What's wrong with Starbucks Roasting ?

Everything probably. But that doesn't matter cause they offer to put so
much flavouring and milk and crap into their drinks that the end result
is about as equivilent to coffee as Dan Brown is to fine literature.

I went into a starbucks once just to try it and know what i'm talking
about I drank about a third of whatever the mocha caramel frappacino
mess with a twist it was and quietly left never to return.

The problem is most americans have never actually drunk proper espresso
and because they're palates have been debased by the sugar laden
processed industrial swill they call food and drink they find the
proper taste of things like coffee and say good blue cheese
unnacceptable. American beer is carbonated sugar water. and lets not
even mention Mcdonalds.

Well, nothing's wrong with it, it's just their preferred style. But it is very dark, and a problem with that is that not only does the coffee have that particular flavour straight off the roaster, but its shelf life decreases a lot, something not taken into consideration by a lot of the outlets. So the coffee is stale on top of dark roasted, and those two together...? Not for everyone!
