i keep finding all these delicious recipes! too many recipes, not enough time. i made this the other day when i wanted something sweet. it's a cool idea: The Recipe Box — Chocolate-Coconut Cookie Bars
Ingredients: * 2 cups graham cracker crumbs (or crushed up ginger snaps) * 1 stick butter, melted * 1 14-ounce can sweetened condensed milk * 1 bag semi-sweet chocolate chips * 1 1/2 cups flaked coconut * 1 cup chopped pecans or walnuts Directions: Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In small bowl, combine crumbs and melted butter. Press crumbs firmly into the bottom of a 13X9 baking pan. Pour condensed milk evenly over crumb bottom. Layer with the remaining ingredients, with the coconut being on top. Press down firmly using a fork. Bake for 25 minutes (until golden brown). Cool (slightly) before cutting into bars. |
