Once again picking the brains, and tastebuds, of AFB.

Headed to Clinton, SC (about an hour southeast of Greenville) next week
for some customer support. Any recommendations on good Q (and
other)places to eat on the company tab are greatly appreciated.

Jason -

If you getta chance, head up I-26 to Spartanburg and stop by the Beacon
drive-in. It's a legend - the main road it's on is named after the Beacon's
original owner, John White. It's not great bbq in the traditional sense, but
it's good food, lots of it, and quite a production inside. Some of the best
sweet tea in the world. Order a slice-a-plenty (sliced pork) heavy on the
red and you won't be disappointed. I would have starved to death during my
formative years if it hadn't been for the Beacon. Still can't go home
without at least one visit there.

Jerry,

Thanks for the info. My travel got put on hold, but I'll be sure to
try and make it when I do get out there.

Best,
Jason
