Rummaging through the chest freezer looking for a little saturday afternoon
meal. Buried beneath the frozen pot pies and frozen pizzas....low and behold! a long forgotten vacu-packed "Pulled Pork" with 9/03 on it! I thought, what the hay,....so put it in a big pot with a little barbecue juice and water at the bottom then put the lid on. After 45 minutes of re-heating (had taken it out of the freezer and put in the fridge the night before) I took the lid off.....Jeebus sumbeech! Man, got the old knife out, a small amount of trimming, and I am now in piggy sandwich heaven! That vacu-seal is good stuff! Danny Hardesty |
