We feels your pain Sir! Have you tried buying by the case off the wholesale distributors in your area. That is a strategy when things get tense. They tend to have better stuff than a person can buy at the store.Least compared to what we get.

$1.19 boneless butts (must buy 70lbs)
$2.29/lb Ungraded chuck rolls
30lbs of tater tots (the Other White Meat) for $18.95.

Dang..yall have good places to buy stuff up there in the vast expanses of the frozen North. Good show old chap. They have one of them places in Irving I think..but us Scots/Irish are way too thrifty to pay the dues to go buy stuff..lol.

If I recall, Sqwertz is in the greater Austin, TX area. Restaurant Depot
is in a number of states and has good deals if you can finagle a
membership.
