Cuban Roast Pig
I can't remember whether or not this website has been posted here, but the
discussion in a thread about the La Caja China Roaster led me to dig this up: http://cuban-christmas.com/pigroast.html A great step-by-step tutorial and pictorial for a cheap, quick homemade whole hog pit. -- Dave Bugg "For it's 'guns this' and 'guns that', and 'chuck 'em out, the brutes', But they're the 'Savior of our loved ones' when the thugs begin to loot." - Rudyard Kipling |

Hi Dave, thanks for sharing that website, it was fascinating. The only
thing I didn't see, and don't really need to know, was what they marinated it in. It was just curiosity on my part, esp as it looked kind of green. Thanks again, a good read & see. Nan |

I'm not into marinading whole or half pigs, so I didn't pay close attention to that part. This was a short video describing what they do. It is just described as mojo. http://www.facebook.com/video/video.php?v=419434649729 -- Dave Bugg "For it's 'guns this' and 'guns that', and 'chuck 'em out, the brutes', But they're the 'Savior of our loved ones' when the thugs begin to loot." - Rudyard Kipling |

I *was* going to get a caja china, now I just may go out and buy myself a bunch of cinderblocks! --Brett |
