Hi all,
Has anyone with a BGE had trouble during assembly whereby when the lid is lifted and then closed it doesn't sit properly ie there is a gap between top and bottom of the egg on the hinge side. I thought it may have been that I didn't tighten the bands enough so I tightened them up further - only problem is I went too far and stripped the thread. Trying to undo it a touch resulted in the bolt snapping. So my good wife is currently at the hardware store getting another one (maybe 2). Any help would be appreciated. (I'll be posting this on the BGE Forum as well.) -- Sloth. * Ggrrrrrr... the frustration * |
