Default Foodsaver bit the dust

The fabric covering the sealing strip broke, so it no longer seals
completely. I could get it fixed for $50 +2XSH or about $70-$90 or I can
get a discount from Tilia on selected models, all of which would cost
more than $100.

Anyone have strong preferences towards any particular brand model as a
candidate for replacing this well used tool?

Matthew
