New to the group, but not to BBQ.

Anyone here ever compete in Memphis?

I'll be there this year (for the first time) and could use some
pointers as to how the judging goes.

"Whole Hog" will be what we are concentrating on, although other
categories will be entered

I've judged MIM but not cooked it. Have you cooked in an MIM competition
before? The World Championship is more of a party then a serious bbq
competition, so be prepared to party.

Anybody have the particulars on MIM? Dates, etc. I'd like to attend.

Where exactly is MIM ? Is it near Pigeon Forge ?
