Drinking too much booze can bring out the Texan in anyone.

Too much of good whisky is barely enough.” - Mark Twain

Well, it sure sounds like he has a case for self-defense. The victims
called the suspect, probably told them they were coming over to kick his
ass for beating his team, then went over to his house with a gun.

And the victim's wife says, "Oh Honey! I want to his new shotgun, too!"

One word: AL-A-BAMA. And judging from their last names, they sound
like big fans of Jerry Springer.

ObFood: Mesquite Smoked jalapeno turkey sandwich for brunch right now.

And a 'gun' story not even labelled OT! I'm talking about the OP, not you,
Steve. At least you mentioned your Mesquite Smoked Jalapeño turkey sandwich
for brunch! Was that open-face with gravy?

Oh - I think it's a good thing all these people had guns. Don't you? I
It stimulates the lawyers, the court system, and the economy. And we
got three idiots and two guns off the streets to boot.

What else would States spend all their money on if it weren't for guns?

ObFood (and there;s almost always an ObFo-od): Smoked beef hot links
from Smokey Denmark for lunch today. At least I think they're hot links
- I've got so much sausage in the freezer I'm not sure what I actually
brought to work.

I'd never done it before at home before, but a local restaurant began
offering what they call their turkey melt sandwich. It's simply several
slices of turkey breast on rye bread with American cheese. The unusual
thing on the sandwich is that they also include a smoked red pepper
slice. The pepper is typical grocery store pepper- packed in oil and
sold in a jar. The sandwich is then grilled. Man, is it good for
restaurant food.

Here at the house, I duplicate it using leftover turkey from the
holidays, but smoke my own peppers in the Bradley (freezing extra).
It's a slightly different way to use up leftover turkey.

I like mine better. <grin>
