dough not rising?
Im making cinnamin roll. These need to set and rise.
Im have been having problems in last several batches getting them to rise. Im using fresh yeast and I put them in warm 95 degree oven (lowest it will go and recipe says set in 85). Do you have any clues for me to try to see if I can get a new batch to raise? thanks for any tips. |

A bit over 110F and the yeast will be killed. Have you checked the setting of the oven (or the rolls themselves) to see what the temperature actually is? Also, you posted this to the sourdough group, but you are not using sourdough. Let's keep it here. HTH, -- Kenneth If you email... Please remove the "SPAMLESS." |
