Kili, my cats adore the "SuperScratcher", made by SmartyKat, box from
Wal-Mart. It is about as long as the keyboard and it is totally made
of cardboard and has catnip sprinkled on it.I buy the skinnier one.
When you open it up it is just corrugated cardboard but they love it.
They cost about 4 or 5 dollars here at Wal-Mart in Kona, and maybe
they'd be cheaper there. The cats just love it! As an economical
hint, when they have scratched the hell out of one side, you can pull
the cardboard away from the box, turn it over, tape the ends because
it is now loose in that purple box, and they will start scratching it
again. I think it is a lifesaver. I have about 4 of them for my 2
cats and they use it daily. Good luck!
