I was born on an island too; there's a reason for the fourth
line in our national Anthem:

'Australians all let us rejoice
For we are young and free
We've golden soil and wealth for toil,
Our home is girt by sea:'

We are the smallest continent but the largest island. At
least that's what I was taught back in Primary School:-)
