I have the Hoover. First time I used it I could not believe the amount
of crud it sucked up. I had to empty the thing a few times. Started to
wonder if it was sucking the fibers out of the carpeting. I'm happy
with it and I'd buy another one. I have never owned or used a Dyson
so I can't comment, besides which my vacuum is a canister.
