Hi Mike,
When I posted the term "HD" I meant "Home Depot" rather than "high
density."
My home depot has two different 5 gallon buckets neither of which are
food grade. My understanding is that not all high density polyethylene
is appropriate for contact with food because the manufacturers use
different plasticizers depending on the intended purpose.
