Every serrated knife I've ever seen had a wavy edge
with rounded teeth. Have you never seen a knife
like that?

I've seen very few knives with sharp, pointed teeth.
I have a paring knife like that, and my mom has
an excellent bread knife like that purchased in
Germany in the 1960's.
