OK. I made 'beer can chicken' on Sunday. Just started making it this season
and I think I perfected it. I found the type of chicken used makes the
biggest difference. After half a dozen previous tries with store brand,
Perdue, organic, etc., I found that Empire kosher chicken is absolutely
juiciest and tastiest.

I pretty much followed the recipe on the beer can chicken bracket I picked
up at Home Depot:
- Wash and dry the chicken inside and out
- Salt and pepper inside the chicken, a mesquite rub outside
- put a half full can of beer in the bracket (I used Bass Ale in a coke can)
- Put the chicken over the bracket and grill with the lid closed for 1 hour
(for a 3 lb. chicken).

Try to keep the temp about 400 - 425 F.
