My wife makes this for guests (and us) every Thanksgiving/Christmas--it
makes a lot:
Judy's "Ten Pound" Fudge
1/2 tsp Salt
2 tsp Vanilla
2 cubes Butter (or) margarine
1 can Evaporated milk
4 cups Sugar
24 oz chocolate chips
1~4 oz grated semi-sweet baking chocolate (depending on taste)
7 oz jar marshmallow creme
10 oz Hershey chocolate (broken into bits)
1 cup chopped walnuts
Place salt, vanilla, butter, evaporates milk and sugar in a sauce pan,
bring to
a light boil. Boil approx 5 mins, stirring all the while.
Prepare a large bowl containing the chocolate chips, baking chocolate
(depending on taste)
marshmallow creme, Hershey chocolate bits and chopped walnuts Pour the
hot ingredients over the above. Stir until marshmallow disappears. Pour
onto large, well greased cookie sheet with deep edges. Chill. Cut into
squares. (Excess can be frozen for awhile if necessary)
