Grilled Honey Glazed Salmon with Grilled Pineapple

6 salmon fillets or salmon steaks
salt and pepper to taste
Basting sauce, combine:
1/2 cup orange juice
2 Tbsp brown sugar
2 Tbsp Dijon mustard
2 Tbsp honey
1 Tbsp soy sauce
1/2 inch piece ginger grated
1 fresh pineapple, peeled, cored cut into slices
Grill pineapple slices, turning over about 2 minutes per side or until softened
and just starting to turn brown and set aside. Salt and pepper salmon. Place
salmon on grill and cook, basting with sauce after 3 minutes until salmon is just
beginning to turn golden around the edges. Turn and baste with sauce and grill
another 5 minutes or until salmon is cooked through. Serve salmon over grilled
pineapple. Cooked coconut rice is a nice accompaniment. Yield: 6 servings.
