I have a suggestion for you which was suggested to me Since there
doesn't seem to be much work there for Allan and you hate the place but want
to be near a beach, try the gulf coast. There's plenty of work for
carpenters and others in the building trade even all these years after
Hurricane Katrina. And they have beaches
