We have a Brita. Our water is tasty even without it, but it helps to
keep a half gallon of cold water in the fridge. I like icy cold water.
The filter lasts much longer than the mfg. suggests.

The water at work is HORRIBLE tasting with minerals and chlorine. We
put an inline filter in the water line of the fridge that has a water
dispenser in the door and it completely eliminates the terrible flavor
of both the water and ice.
