Can't answer your question about McDonalds but wondering if anyone
remembers Burger Chef which was founded in Indianapolis and ruled over
every fast food joint in Indiana for decades before locking the doors in
the 1980's.

I always felt they had the better burgers - Big Chef- & prices and still
miss this corporation and their condiment bar for sandwiches which I
always pile on the onions -after work hours-.
